Cold start and seepage issues

I rebuilt the powerhead on my '00 Yamaha 150 for my Skeeter SS150 but now it won't idle without help from the electric choke. Could this be due to the 25:1 break in mix or something else? There's also oil seeping near the circulation/bleed system splitter. Any advice on whether these issues are typical or if I should dig deeper before risking another failure?

That no idle without choke thing might be a carb or air issue, not just the break-in mix. And that oil leak doesn't sound normal to me. so better check those connections! look into both before you head out again to be safe

The 25:1 break-in mix might cause richer fuel, affecting idling and the oil seepage near the splitter could indicate a seal issue
