Jumping back into boat mods

Ok so I've been doing some upgrades... I got new gauges in (tach, trim, volt) and just picked up a water pressure gauge for lower readings but I'm just now hearing I might need a 30 psi one instead. Not sure which range is actually right for my setup though. Need help / opinions please. TIA.

If you're mostly running a stock or mildly tuned outboard, a 30 PSI water pressure gauge is usually the better call, the 60 PSI versions are really meant for high performance setups or high rpm racing applications where pressure spikes way up, so the way I see it, the only reason to go 60 PSI is if your motor is jacked way up or you're pushing serious top end speeds, otherwise, stick with the 30

I ran into the same thing after adding a water pressure gauge to my outboard setup. I ended up going with the 0–30 psi range and it reads much more accurately at idle and low speeds.
